I guess running the A/C with a window open is crazytown bananapants?
Maybe, but I do it all the time. My upper floor gets too hot to not have the a/c on, but I like to have a window open a bit. I'll close them during the hottest part of the day, though.
for everyone "liking" my pic on fb - here is what my mother just wrote me "Look like you've been hit and have black eyes. Not your best picture."
OMG we have the same mother! My 6 year old let me cut his hair before my mother came to visit (she is here now) because it makes him feel bad when she criticizes his hair.
I always have at least one window cracked, A/C or no. But that's for cat and occasional house-fan reasons. It's my one extravegance. The joy of getting to turn the heat off in the apartment is not having to play door-opener for the cats.
Speaking of: neighbors have a bunch of kids over. I'm sitting here when my storm door starts making funny sounds that don't match up with Nunya trying to get in the people way. Next thing I know a little boy is opening up my door and I'm all "HEY!" and he's frozen stiff. Kid was terrified, and I booted him as gently as I could and then texted neighbor about wandering middle-schoolers.
Really, I have to lock my door now when I'm home? Maybe I should get a sign at the bottom of my steps that says "Beware, Vicious Cats" or something.

She's wrong! You look totally cute.
I over cooked them a bit - I think what I thought was too, too jiggly was maybe mostly the cream that I poured over top. Really yum anyway, though. Definitely a new thing I like. Oven made it hotter still in here, but WORTH IT! Also have A/C again finally because new register installed tonight, so.
I feel SO GOOD about myself, you guys! Every night this week, I've meant to do something after work and gotten stuck to the sofa. And now I have an avocado!
I meant to start doing yoga and eating better this week and instead I've gone out drinking three of four days after work.
I don't have little ramekins, so I had to do three together in a little round casserole, so it messed me up. I was hungry, which worked out well. It's also all I made. What temp did you/do you use? I did 325 as recipe said, but it also said 12 minutes for two in a single dish.
Hope your friends are good, Anne.
Now I am off to FB to find what I'm sure is a lovely picture of msbelle.
