I am arguing about facebook privacy settings with an idiot who clearly doesn't know how the settings work but thinks she does. I really should step away from this conversation.

Sox, that's awesome! Give T my undying gratitude for all of his hard work.
And it's not a trigger warning at all. I am still following developments in melanoma cancer research.
I got an amazing response from an idiot the other day. It boiled down to "So you think you know what my post means just because you read it? Well, go fuck yourself!"
It was one of those things you just want to cut out and pin somewhere you can get giggles when the world is grinding you down.
I'm supposed to be taking this Coursera course, and the video player is cranky indeed. I'm not used to homework and deadlines. The last thing I need is "the internet ate my assignment".
Well, she seems to have stopped arguing now that I posted a "can you see this?" post and she had to admit that, contrary to her statement, she couldn't see it.
That's so cool, Sox! I was just reading about that yesterday. (Why yes, I do follow cancer treatment developments rather obsessively.)
I've just spent the best part of the past two hours of my life on this, so here is my best-ever GeoGuessr (32394 points):
I got a direct hit! I didn't think that was actually even possible.
The last one took forever, but I got there in the end.
Can I stop now, please?
Excellent work Mr. Sox!
Dammit, Fiona.
t have just lost half an hour playing a round of game (to the paltry points of 11,000-something)
I've never heard of GeoGuessr! I can see how this could turn addictive... (teaches me to wander into Natter when I have a project due)
HMOG, I think I'm not yet acclimated to this heat. 25 minute walk on campus and I had to go stand over the ac vents in the server room to dry my head. And it didn't even feel that hot out!
Maybe it's the humidity? I walked two miles this morning and was wringing sweat an hour later even after a shower. (Also, my glasses fogged up the instant I stepped out of the car as if I were in a cartoon.)
