I am still reeling with how stupid some people are, and how loudly they are stupid. In an effort to call out how bad I've been at giving her information, she's yelling very broadly that she doesn't know a given piece of information (see below, she types). So I marked up her image with big arrows and big text (I decided that highlighting would have been OTT) to point out her rookie oversight in front of the same audience she's trying to shame me in front of (see below, I type).
She
exhausts
me.
I will try interlibrary loan. I may be able to have them scan it at RIT and send to me, if I can figure out the correct way to type it into the request form for "journal articles"

That's really the only thing you can do with someone like that.
I'm pretty sure SAP is based in Germany. I say this based on the fact that every now and then it will throw up error messages in German.
Interview is done, short and pretty relaxed. I still have no idea. I got the feeling from the first interview that maybe they were trying to get another department to hire me, but this one was all about this particular position, so I don't know about that. We did discuss how converting from temp to perm might go, so that's positive.
I'm really pleased with my skirt, mostly pleased with my shirt, and can't stop noticing how my blazer is way too big and makes me look like a kid in her father's suit coat. Oh well. I tried to buy a new blazer but apparently that's a Fall item.
Good luck with the car thing working out better next time, sarameg. And good luck to everyone who is trying to refi! I'm in the midst of closing with QuickenLoans. Throughout the whole process they kept telling me how much more streamlined their process is and communications are compared to other lenders or brokers or whatever they are, and still the whole thing seemed interminable, although objectively it could easily have been much worse.
What a terrible sentence. I can't even think of a good excuse for it. But you get the idea, I hope.

QuickenLoans is who Tim is talking to! I assume any refi process would be a pain, and I have zero experience to make any kind of comparisons anyway.
There should be a store full of items that you sometimes need, even when they're out of season.
I thought blazers would always be in season! But I guess not.
Silence from the salesguy. No followup email or phone call in the past, what, 2 hours? You know, you'd think he might want to verify a time or something, rather than, I dunno, make assumptions?
Oh god, the footage coming out of London is horrifying.
