I don't like lobster. Or crab. Too sweet.

The status is NOT quo.

Kat, it's like that PT noticed you were juggling chainsaws, and thought it would be useful to set them on fire.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The idea of being lobstered out is like "money can't buy happiness." I'd like to try and see for myself.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Lobster is yummy, but I prefer crab. When I was a kid, we had a family tradition--instituted by a family friend who came to visit every year around that time--of having Dungeness crab on Christmas eve. It was delicious. We still do it every few years because YUM!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I had to give up on lobster when I couldn't hack the butter any more -- dipping in drawn margarine is just not the same. 'You will not believe it's not butter' my ASS. At least as far as dipping goes, anyway.

Anne, I'm so sorry about Jeeves!

Juliebird, you're right, that's a harsh law -- I bet my brothers-the-NJ-cops would agree with you, even if they're sworn to uphold the laws.

Librarian Warlord

Anne, I'm so sorry for your loss.

All the summers I spent in Maine has left me thinking that lobster isn't a special occasion food, and there are a lot of things I'd rather have. However, there is a place in Wiscasset that had the best lobster rolls, and I am looking forward to one of those in July.

Shrimp, on the other hand, I have very strong feelings about. They're bottom feeding garbage, and I don't understand why anyone would pay to eat them. See? Strong.

DH is gone to Geneva, and for various reasons I could not go on this trip. In September, he's going to Zambia, and I need to make some time to figure out if a safari is possible for us then. ETA: Who knew you could fly to Lusaka for $800!?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

They're bottom feeding garbage

Lobsters, on the other hand, feed on only the finest shit that falls to the bottom of the ocean.

I love all shellfish, as long as I don't have to see their heads which remind me how much they look like giant bugs. (I can't eat shrimp since I noticed it made my mouth itch about a year ago, but everything else, gimme more.)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I love Gulf shrimp (and eat a lot of 'em). Also crawfish which definitely look like bugs. Miss eating lobster.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Mmm, crustaceans. Yum. I'd be okay with eating locusts, too, ftr. But my meals today are shaping up to be all salmon and vegetables.

So, black skirt with white polka dots, white shirt with black trim, black blazer - ok for 2nd interview at the the place I've been temping for almost 3 months (so no worries about making a first impression)?
