Tracy: Well-- That call -- That call means you just murdered me. Mal: No, son. You murdered yourself. I just carried the bullet a while.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Supernatural, Parks and Rec, Doctor Who, The Mindy Project, Castle, and The New Girl.

Awww, we have no overlap! I was hoping you watched Elementary.

Also, you misspelled Trek 2: LENS FLARE!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think it is LENS FLAIR, peasant.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Awww, we have no overlap! I was hoping you watched Elementary.

Fandom too full of insulting neurotypical asswipes, so I'm on a break from it, despite having enjoyed the eps I watched.

not your mom's socks.

Sox, so very glad that DH and sprog are OK. Everything else is negotiable.
Absolutely agreed.

I'm so far from caught up on tv. And I just got a little spoiled for S3 GoT. To be expected, I guess.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think it is LENS FLAIR, peasant.

Heh. That was yet another thing that made me laugh throughout the movie. (In addition to the comedy and the fan service.)

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Plei, I highly recommend Orphan Black, although it has just developed a possibly-upsetting storyline involving a young child at risk.

But it is otherwise kind of awesome, and it includes Matt Frewer on the cast, whom I always like. Plus, he's playing evil, and he's good at that.

The flare is the flair?

Ugh, really? I'm glad I didn't poke around the fandom, then. Because I started out as lukewarm towards it and have ended up loving the shit out of it. LOVE.

And then there's Arrow, which is totally the Funyuns of TV, but I adore it beyond reason. There was a throwaway reference to Kate Spencer!

Well, the alternator tested fine. Since they couldn't get it to reproduce the symptoms, I'm quitting while I'm ahead and it only is costing me $51. They're going to ask around to see if anyone wants it. Otherwise, I'll use it for a trade-in.

Might see about getting the dealer to bring out a car for a test drive between meetings tomorrow.

I am that done. Even moreso since oh, btw the timing chain needs adjusting.

And now I'm going swimming.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm glad everyone's okay, Sox. Take care of youse!

Good finance vibes to you, sarameg, and to you as well, Steph.

xkcd did GeoGuessr today:

Seriously, is xkcd one of us?

So lunch today began as salami and almonds and a bit of cucumber salad, but when it was clear that wasn't enough I followed it up with spinach salad with fennel, mushrooms, and chicken. I figure I'm not trying to lose weight so I really should eat when I'm hungry, right? I had two breakfasts too, so I guess today I'm a hobbit, a low-carb hobbit.
