I'm reminded once again that the mix of the organization style "piles" with "actually filed and organized in a logical fashion" pretty much guarantees you'll just end up with piles when searching for something.

Signed, 2009-2011 retirement and mortgage statements were easy to find. But I should have looked in the 2012/13 pile first to find the current ones.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

My default is sleep for everything too.

Oh sweetie, I'm sorry it's all hitting at once.

Sox, so very glad that DH and sprog are OK. Everything else is negotiable.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ok Geoguesser. You win. I start getting my guesses consistently within the correct country, so you give me the effin BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN. Buncha Daleks, the lot of you.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I got one that was someone's panorama photo, with no arrows, and no ability to move.

And now I'm just waiting for everyone to get back to me.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

the effin BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN.

That's no fair!

I got one that was someone's panorama photo, with no arrows, and no ability to move.

Also no fair!

(And -- I swear I am not making this up -- as I was typing this post, Tim texted me to ask me if I saw today's xkcd. IS EVERYONE READING MY MIND?)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I got one that was someone's panorama photo, with no arrows, and no ability to move.

Did it look like the back of an apartment building, like a parking lot with gravel? I got that one too.

No, it was in Malaysia, on a hill.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

... that's fascinating! Where did that come from? I could see getting a pixie to look more like Emma Watson, but a lemming?

From WAY the hell back, because I apparently lost 10 days of Natter somehow...

This was the summer between K and grade 1, and she wanted her ears to show, because you can see lemming ears.

She's been in the bob of various lengths since that grew out, and we'll be putting in purple stripes tonight.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The guy who just came to my desk to talk smelt

It took me a second to realize he wasn't talking to you about fish.
