And now I'm just waiting for everyone to get back to me.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

the effin BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN.

That's no fair!

I got one that was someone's panorama photo, with no arrows, and no ability to move.

Also no fair!

(And -- I swear I am not making this up -- as I was typing this post, Tim texted me to ask me if I saw today's xkcd. IS EVERYONE READING MY MIND?)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I got one that was someone's panorama photo, with no arrows, and no ability to move.

Did it look like the back of an apartment building, like a parking lot with gravel? I got that one too.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

No, it was in Malaysia, on a hill.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

... that's fascinating! Where did that come from? I could see getting a pixie to look more like Emma Watson, but a lemming?

From WAY the hell back, because I apparently lost 10 days of Natter somehow...

This was the summer between K and grade 1, and she wanted her ears to show, because you can see lemming ears.

She's been in the bob of various lengths since that grew out, and we'll be putting in purple stripes tonight.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Headline of the day: Big rig carrying fruit crashes on 210 Freeway, creates jam [link]

The guy who just came to my desk to talk smelt

It took me a second to realize he wasn't talking to you about fish.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

And, Seriously, Botswana totally looks like Arizona. I've guessed AZ twice on different photos and come up in Botswana. If I ever get a chance to travel to Africa, I will save that country for when I'm feeling a little homesick. It'll cheer me right up.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Y'all need to have spectacular Tuesdays. really.

hip deep in pie

I got one that was someone's panorama photo, with no arrows, and no ability to move.

I got one where I could 360 but otherwise not move.

Also, I wonder how random your pictures are. I have been getting at least one Canadian one a game. (And Brazil and South Africa/Australia) But I have never had one from the UK that didn't come from someone else's challenge.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Finally comments worth reading--for the sheer hilarity of it all. The article itself is a bit dismissive of the furore over Yahoo buying Tumblr, but I wish I felt the comments were buying in with satire, rather than a) missing the point and/or b) being the point.

Just had a reach-out-and-touch lunch with the CIO--they're encouraging accessibility by allowing people to volunteer to have lunch with her periodically. It was pretty interesting, even if I did talk the second most--I feel I asked a couple good questions. So there. t /brown-nose
