Kat, I had one of those cakes, too.

He also looks remarkably like Ryan: [link]
That's a whole lot to handle, Steph. At least some of it is happy making (if still stressful), and you and Tim can lean on each other through the rest. That is of the good.
What she said. I'm sorry it's so overwhelming right now.
I've read some forums that refer to it as "low carb flu," with brain fog and other symptoms.
And yet people eat like this for years? I don't think I could. Today we went to the farmers market and bought lots of yummy fruit for everyone else, and some yummy chili/lime pistacios for me.
so when we had to buy a car we had no idea what we wanted. We were thinking used. But we found the car guy. a guy in my neightborhood that does all the looking around andnegoiating once you know what you want . 500.00 for a used car , nothing for a new ( he dealership pays him )
In the end - he convinced us to go new - get what we want , we keep cars forever and - the used car we wanted , really not much cheaper than new...
but we still had the ford dealer that tried the 'what can we do to get you in car today' foolishness. I said 'nothing' he said 'why not' I said 'im careful'
He basicly gave me a list of reason not to be care ful. I just looked at him. When Matt came back from where ever he was the sales guy tried to use the same line on Matt. he got three words out before I killed his voice with the look. That was fun

They say it passes. That said, when life got super stressful, I fell off low-carb with a thud.

Fuuuuck I first woke up at 4. And then at 8. I'm officially giving up on today.
Man. I'm joining sarameg on the giving up bench.
I went to sleep late and then Cagney was sick this morning...four times. No sleep for us. Blech.
Woke up at 5 and then omg7:30 - the whole house was slow. Something in the weather.
Then DH drove HPF to school and veryoldcar's brake line went bad. He's fine. She's fine. Because he's had advanced driver training and drove a bus at university (I will be making a donation to the university's transit service bus rodeo beer fund just as soon as I finish cutting up veryoldcar into tiny tiny pieces.). So it looks like we are car hunting. Which is not ideal.
Grace was calling us this morning. Her sleep schedule is fubar -- she was up late on Saturday to watch hockey. She took a 3 hour nap on Sunday because she was ragey. She fell asleep close to 10 last night which is unheard of and she was up at 5:30 calling "Mom. Mom. Mom." She's not ragey right now, but she's almost back asleep in Katie's arms.
