I, for one, wasn't looking forward to starting my day with a slaughter. Which, really, just goes to show how much I've grown

I'm hoping I can wait another year or two before getting a new car.

I just got back from my massage therapist. I got a 90 minute hot stone, deep tissue massage. OMG did I need that. I adore my gal and don't see her near often enough.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Nice way to make myself look organized and together.

Good thing you weren't late for your interview.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Dinner tonight was a seaweed salad (which should have been squid salad, but new waitress and I like 'em both anyway) and this beauty:

It's a bomb roll: tempura fried lobster tail, cream cheese, and crunch flakes wrapped in thin sliced cucumber, served skewered in a martini glass with carrot strings and parsley.

Mom just took schlepping the boys to them off my plate. "I think you have too much on your plate. I'm done tutoring, I can go get them."

I love my mom. I wasn't going to ask.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Dang, that's a helluva dinner, Matt! Beats my two pieces of cold and lonely gefilte fish.

That's a whole lot to handle, Steph. At least some of it is happy making (if still stressful), and you and Tim can lean on each other through the rest. That is of the good.

Better thing you took care of biz when they had a crisis on your first day.

Matt, that is A Dinner.

Aw, Tep, I'm sorry that you are at the overwhelming point. It must feel like a struggle just to make it through the day.

We went bowling today, where I had a mimosa and watched the kids play. It was fun-ish.

I'm scrolling through old pics of mine on flickr. I found this picture which is my proof that Noah looks Just Like I Did: [link] (Pic of Noah in front of his bug research for comparison: [link] Everytime people say that Grace looks just like me, I can't agree because Noah is my spitting image from childhood.
