When my little brother went shoping for a new car, he actually measured the height of his dogs chin when in the sitting postion so Cisco would have maximum comfort resting his head out of the window.
I guess that's slightly less absurd than shopping for apartments with my cats outdoor needs and safety coming first. Oh, the money I'd save if I didn't have cats. People (me) joke about crazy cat ladies, but, if I didn't have my gals, I think I really would be crazy.
It's not crazy to be a lady who takes care of her cats. It's crazy to try to take care of more cats than you have resources of time, energy and money to care for properly.
Signed,
A cat lady who makes sweaters to keep her part-Siamese warm and slings to carry him around in. (That's not crazy. Paying $90 to a pet supplies website for those things WOULD be. ETA, at least on my budget.)
I think I need to drive one and soon. Because it is coming in as the most reasonable for what I'm looking for in a car (runs, has wheels, small, manual) at the lowest end of prices for that class of car.
I can probably get a decent loan through AAA if I do the financing end myself, though it seems Mazda has a promo on right now.
Well, will have to drive one and see if I don't hate it. There's a dealer up in Towson if I can get up there sometime this week. Which I might not be able to, it's another clustergfuck of a week. And I might not have a driveable car!
Oh, did I mention I am ALSO trying to looking into refi my mortgage?
I don't know why I don't just start throwing myself off the deck repeatedly. That would be more fun.

Replace gal with guy and cat with dog and this would be me.
Guess what I did? Locked the keys to my new office IN my new office. I have to figure out who to ask on Monday to get let in. Nice way to make myself look organized and together.
Does a lack of carbs leave you with brain fog? For the first three days I was fine, but today I just can't wake up.
I understand that he brain runs on glucose, so yeah, it makes sense that low carb could do that. I've read some forums that refer to it as "low carb flu," with brain fog and other symptoms.

I know it's different for everyone, but low-carbing made me fuzzy-headed and punchy. It felt very similar to being on Prednisone. (Which is why I decided that diet was not for me, and went and ate some pasta.)

We're looking into refinancing the house and buying a car. And planning a wedding. And I may not have a job in a month.
I'm waiting for the meteor to land on my head.
At least that is statistically unlikely?
I've got neverending PMS, which means I'm doing this with no coping skills whatsoever. OTOH, I've already had the dealer with the lowest price contact me, so if I need to keep the ball rolling....
We just saw a turtle hauling ass down our street. Not a small turtle, either. Moving at a pretty good clip. Possibly he was trying to catch the hare.
