The solution, obviously, is for the company to provide coffee, but only for those people who can close sales.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

In Canada Coffee is for Hosers.
In my department, there are pods provided, but we're on the honor system to pay for them. Something like 75 cents per pod. And, for some reason that I don't understand, we're not allowed to bring our own pods, which annoys me, because I don't like any of the ones they stock.
Oh, man, taking away coffee with no warning is evil!
We lost our toaster here, but there was a lot of discussion both before and after it happened as to why.
Not allowed to bring your own? like if you kept them in your desk you would get in trouble?
I find that bizarre.
New work place (the doublewide) has a Keurig, which I am very happy about. I am sure I will be in charge of buying the cups, so I will eventually get some vanilla and hazelnut for myself.
Old annoying co-worker is apparently being a giant drama queen since I left. Made a big show of cleaning out my desk and wiping down my white board (all it had on it was flight info for the month for all the directors and VPs I supported. She also pushed back some job duties to the Directors and THEY LET HER. unbelievable.
You found Geoguessr! It's totally addictive, I have to limit myself to one game per day, and it's possible I have been playing way too much.
I do allow myself to Google, obviously.
Oh boy, I want that t-shirt.
Not allowed to bring your own? like if you kept them in your desk you would get in trouble?
Probably there would just be a stern email sent out to the entire faculty, reminding everyone that, if people bring in their own pods, then the coffee machine will be taken away.
Oh, and I do allow myself to Google, obviously.
I usually navigate around until I find road signs
Works pays for nothing. We have a specific policy that decrees when we can ordered catering, and there has to be people from outside the organization and/or people who have travelled more that 100 KMs and a meeting of more that 3 hours. Also we are not allowed to provide bottled water, only tap.

My mother actually has (federally-funded) projects at her job that specifically don't pay for food, even for outside people who have traveled for the meeting! I think it's bananas.
