Man, I'm really sorry your worries are interfering with each other, Consuela. Bad enough to have either to deal with on its own.

Safety and happiness are good goals, Consuela. Still holding you and sending strength.
msbelle, seems to me anyone who named their kid Jim Crow did it on purpose.
sigh, yeah, like that kid whose parents named him Adolph Hitler LastName.
Consuela, I can't fathom what you have on your plate right now. I feel really deeply for you. I hope the planning can make this as tolerable as possible, and you can get back to the already fun enough job search.
Mmm, Popeye's. I haven't had that in a while.
Fried chicken is the ultimate summer picnic food if you ask me. Yum!
Oh, man, I just used my new bathtub for the first time and I think I might have to marry it. It's wide enough and long enough that I can actually stretch out in it and not have to choose whether to cover my knees or my shoulders with water.
That sounds lovely, Dana.
Calgon, take me away. To Dana's tub, apparently.
As crazy busy as work has been the last few weeks, this week is s l o w. Like, I could take a nap and not miss anything.
Wind managed to blow the latched back porch door open. I came downstairs to find a Strange Cat on top of the living room sofa.
Amazingly, none of our resident furballs got out, and aside from Spare Cat seem unaware their kingdom was violated.
Also, none of the cats got out. That is a huge mercy, and clearly the Win for the day.
Meantime, my car has been booted, and I got a shut off notice for the gas, so it's time to go open the piggy banksavings account that only gets used in emergencies.
After talking with my brother last night, the goal is safety and happiness rather than actual improvements in her health.
Good.
Oh, Matt, that sounds awful, but probably the right choice. I forget how grateful I should be that my dad's Parkinson's has progressed relatively slowly. I have some anxiety about seeing him this summer because my mom says he's "slowed down" which is usually a pretty severe euphemism. But they've upped his meds (he was on a very small dose, super resistant to taking any because of the issues you mention) so we'll see.
Ouch, Theodosia. Anything promising on your job-search front?
