I got my new computer at work and got it all set up this morning. it is happy-making. Rather than using the docking station as designed I am using the laptop as a second screen.
I have thus far thrown away about a half a box of papers from the various file drawers and boxes I had to go through. I still have quite a bit more to go through and I still have no idea what I will be doing on a daily basis, but it is only day three, so no stressing.
Today's rehearsal report informs me that "Elephants have been confirmed." Okay then.
I hope nothing blows up, Burrell!
I think it's unlikely. I can't get much info, but so far it seems there was no imminent threat, although someone building pipe bombs is not a good sign.
Jeez, Burrell. Stay safe!
I got a lovely call from my oldest friend, and in between having her cell phone cut out she told me how much she enjoyed reading my Narnia novel. Which is very nice on a day when I'm very anxiously awaiting callbacks from potential employers and so forth.
I love rehearsal reports.
Don't blow up, Burrell!
Oo, Consuela, I'd love to read it too.

Burrell: Here is Carpetbaggers. It's fairly child-safe, with a bit more explicit acknowledgement of violence and political strife than in the original. But it's intended to be consistent with Lewis, if simultaneously a bit critical of his world-building.
I hope you enjoy it!

Thank you, I'm sure I will
