I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm envisaging an Ocean's Eleven situation. The Swedish Chef has access to the weapons, Lou Zealand's their marksman, Miss Piggy for the hand-to-hand stuff. Dr Bunsen Honeywdew and Beaker for tech, Kermit for planning, Scooter's the fixer, and so on and so on. This week's special guest: Chris Evans!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Isn't The Great Muppet Caper already a movie?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Yeah, but it doesn't have Hitler.

I have done something horrible to my upper back and it's getting worse. There's a knot underneath my right shoulderblade and raising my right arm hurts like hell.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Now I'm picturing a Hitler Muppet.

Possibly a Hitler Muppet profile only ever shown in shadow...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Nilly, I am so very sorry for your loss. Much peace, love, and strength to your family.

Shir, thanks for passing on the news.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That's pretty awesome.

I'm completely overdressed for the office today, since I have a two-hour interview this afternoon. Overdressed for the weather, as well: I'm in a navy suit. Got my heels in my bag to switch into when I get to the interview.

On Friday I have a lunch meeting with a senior manager at another firm, and I'm not sure what to wear. Not a suit, since it's not a formal interview. I'm thinking a skirt with a bright top and my multi-colored flats. (It's supposed to be really hot the rest of the week, up to 80 in SF.)
