He was taking me to a neuropsych appointment
Maybe he was part of the test?
That just sucks. Truly. I wish you strong meds that break through the pain and give you the rest of the week back.

Oh ita, I'm so sorry.
What a crappy start to the week, ita. I hope you get some relief.
Thanks, guys. This is pretty much the pain that will happen with two bad bouts of insomnia. I can't get out from under that with the normal regimen.
Well, they're definitely not giving me more than 2mg at a time, so no pain relief. At least there was IV benadryl, so hopefully the itching will ease up before I'm discharged. The attending was kind, but more prophylactically helpful in theory than imminently palliative in practice.
My neuro is to call me this evening, which bodes ill for tomorrow, clearly.
Crappy, crappy, crappy stuff, ita !.
I just ordered business cards for the first time in YONKS. I want to be more involved in AACE (professional organization for my job) and I know people pass out their cards and I don't want to be empty handed. But do people really use business cards any more?
Man, I'm sorry, ita.

I'm not dealing with anything like your chronic pain but finally sleeping last night after two nights of awfulness has made a huge difference in how I feel today. Insomnia, especially cumulative, is horrid. Sleep is amazing.
I hear you, Cass. Getting out from under that would be marvellous. I just don't know HOW.
Christ--they just announced one of the codes I remember from working here--code pink is a kidnapped baby. I don't want to imagine the freaking out that's happening right now.
Wait--and now they say it's a drill? Five minutes after, say, eight calls without saying it's a drill?
That's either mean or shifty.
