The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So far this morning, Bubba has managed to shut himself in fella's crate .

Also, do people have recs for dog food that isn't Blue? That's what they told me Fella ate, but he has been totally turning his nose up at it.

I know I could Google, but I figure you guys might have an answer already, and I am on vacation.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I like Wellness, because it smells like blueberries, but Walter also seems to like it. He's not fussy, though.

Everybody is loving the canned Alpo he's on right now, though. Of course he loves it, but Wednesday would rather eat his food than canned cat food (she'll walk away from her freshly filled dish because she knows I'm feeding him next), and I just caught Jadzia licking his dish.

Argh, Jen, I hope it stops hurting, at least! I had no idea those were bitey bugs.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I've had very good luck with Fromm's, after going through a number of pricy alternatives that were declined.

They have about a dozen varieties, which is nice because you can change things up when boredom sets in without major digestive impact.

The downside is that some of the varieties (pork and apple, beef frittata) will make you look askance at your own dinner of yogurt and toast.

Thanks! I think we shall go to petsmart later and investigate.

Is this the thread where we had the IUD discussion? I think IUD sounds like a good option, and I am sort of leaning towards the one with no hormones (Paraguard, I think), but I read that it can cause heavier periods and I really don't need that.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

According to my OB, Mirena (hormones) will more or less eliminate periods, and Paraguard (copper) will make them heavier. So I have a Mirena. The side effects are MUCH lower than what I remember from BC pills. (I have gained weight, but I attribute that more to the fact that I graze off my kids' plates when I'm clearing the table, and I've completely stopped exercising.)

Trust my rage

Here's my real concern, I guess. I get PMS symptoms that are fairly emotion-oriented - I suck, I'm the stupidest, fattest, dumbest person in the world, whatever. But the upside to that is that right before I ovulate, I feel like I'm the smartest, sexiest, most awesome person ever. And those feelings I like. I'm hesitant to lose the bad and the good, but I'm thinking hormones might do that because I don't remember feeling that way when I was on the pill (which was 13 years ago and I was younger obviously and might now have been that in tune with my body).

eta: so I thought maybe the Paraguard would let me keep my hormonal mood swings, but I'm not sure a heavier period each month is worth that.
