Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yay, msbelle!

...and, stuff. Such as, heal up quick, little Ford, so you can go home!

and woot, -t!

You yardworking people tire me proactively. Our next-door neighbor's daughter said we can take all her big decorative pots. It makes her--and us--happy to know they'll be here and in use. Now if we can just manage to um, lose, yeah, that's the ticket, the ceramic seagulls and foxes before the realtor shows the house...

Yay Ford!

Bev, if it is any consolation, I don't have to water the new plants for the next week! Nature is taking care of it.

Pumpkin looks like a disgruntled drunk when you wake her up unexpectedly.

Yay new niece!

Hooray for start date, msbelle!

Woo-hoo (weirdly notified) interview, -t!!

That was kind of fun.

And, Trudy - all good thoughts coming your and your family's way.

One less thing off the list, sara. Love your pictures. The latest one I have is here. The new house numbers. H built the tray and frame, set the tiles and painted the frame the same color as the star. I like that red against the blue.

sarameg - Apr 29, 2013 6:16:40 pm PDT #21052 of 30001

I was in negotiations with a tile-maker for house numbers and then my aunt died and that all got derailed. Love yours!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I love your porch, Beverly. My grandmother collected amber glass, so I always look for it at garage sales and curiosity shops. I like yours with the cast iron a lot!

I have changed my sheets (not entirely because y'all mentioned that today) - take that To Do List!

I need to change mine, as well. Maybe tomorrow.

Thanks, -t. H worked really hard last summer revamping the front of the house, adding steps to the porch. The blinds were an inexpensive way to reduce the sun and heat, and add privacy.

I can't wait to get the pots in the walled bed out front. My landscape design neighbor is advising me on what grows well here.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My laptop is back!

I was so excited to get it I somehow uttered "Let's go get Mummy!" as I scooped up my phone and tablet into my bag to head to the Apple Store.

Kat, I wish there were enough squares for woo bingo! I think the guy is pointlessly dogmatic on some fronts (some criteria are not red flags unless they exist in isolation, or with others--I don't think "other people say it worked" is on its own a red flag, unless it is entirely on its own, you know?

But those are some fun comments! Gotta love outrage on any side of the this argument--well, as long as it's not impacting herd immunity or otherwise damaging the community.

Okay, now day can be done.
