The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

My new highlights.

Awesome!

In other non-dog news, just to prove I am still capable of it, my backyard is a happy happy place for me right now. Both the lime and lemon trees I planted a few weeks ago are still alive, and seem to be growing (though the lime tree is growing out and not up), the nasturtium seeds I planted have sprouted, and birds have discovered my feeder.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Even with the vines, I still have a happy backyard; right now there's a mockingbird giving it everything that he's got. Later, I need to walk to the library, so I've got a lot of afternoon to look forward to, killing vines and getting in the new books....

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay for happy backyards and highlights!

I have yet to actually do anything today. I mean, I just finished breakfast, I don't know why that process took so long. But now I have shoes on and everything, anything could happen.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I went and consulted on my mother's new clothes, and then came home. Maybe a load of laundry?

9AM calls from work on a Sunday are not on.

Adorable doggie!

I'm flying to LA for a meeting. Which is exciting, I get to meet my coworkers, but I didn't leave enough time this morning, was hella rushed, almost got to the airport too late, and am not sure I even packed any of the right clothes. Plus kinda pissed I have to do this on a Sunday.

[link] Worked in the front some more. Acquired hostas. Also planted my buckets outback, including a new hanger: [link]

Now I need to go deal with my laundry. And eat something.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Adorable hanger you got here.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Love the new highlights, Suzi! I want red ones, I think.

So happy for people who are happy with their yards! I am less than happy, but it would require work to be happy.
