Sara, I am so sorry.

Oh, sara, that's too much in one day. I'm so sorry about Devi.
What's the last thing that made you smile unexpectedly?
Two young women had two toddlers out today, and stopped on the corner across from me to part ways. They told the toddlers (definitely under two, but at least 18 months) to say goodbye, and the little girl leaned over very carefully and laid her head on the little boy's shoulder and put her arms around him. He even patted her back for a second.
Geez, Sara, that's awful!!!
I love gooey butter cake. And have had plenty of sweet tea! I will have to yelp BBQ places.
Right now I'm just irked that the hotel wifi is completely not working. So I can't do work, but I also can't read the Internet in peace on my iPad. I have to use my phone. Which is a PiTA. Grump grump grump.
Oh, sarameg, why today? I'm really glad you were there for your friend, but jeez, universe, a break, please?
Oh Sara. I'm so sorry.
Apparently, sara's week did not get the memo that last week (aka "This fucking week") is over. Hopefully it just got confused and thought Monday-Monday
Sara, I'm so sorry about Devi. It's always so hard.
In re: the dead eyed parents: those that don't have kids can't understand the level of exhaustion that you reach sometimes. Doesn't mean you don't love your kids or that you're dead inside. Just friggin' tired after years of sleep deprivation. My kid didn't sleep through the night for about 2.5 years. YEARS, people! I still don't know how any of us survived it. I'm just hoping with all I've got that the next one is a sleeper. Signed, Dead Eyes
It's been ages since I was in Jeff City, but I always remember going to a Chinese restaurant there. Other than that, I'd go for catfish.
Oh Sara, I am sorry your friend had to go through that, but very glad you were there.

Yeah, Emmett didn't sleep through the night until he was 5. Which is the Number One Reason why it took me ten years to even consider having another child.
I'm sorry sarameg, that's a tough loss, and a shitty day.
