Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Blergh and phooey. Jury duty tomorrow. I mean, I guess I could look at it as "faffing-around-online-day" tomorrow, but there's actual work to be done; if I'm gonna be not at work, I'd rather be out seeing a movie or at home writing or organizing, not sitting in the basement jury room on McAllister Street.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Today in the annals of the elderly: my mother believes she's in China, and doesn't understand why nobody told her.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw, poor Consuela's mom. I really can't imagine how hard that must be.

Sara, I'm just now getting ready to try to get rid of Homer's old food. Is it weird to sell prescription food? I know I should donate it somewhere, but nowhere is convenient.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh, as usual, dear, Consuela. I know it is hard. My dad told us all kinds of tales, including how he had buried treasure in the yard and that we had to dig it up. Many of the tales involved hidden or buried money. We figured on some level he wanted to be sure we were provided for. The delusions were better than when he talked in jibberish and would get very mad at us for not understanding. When we would visit we were never quite sure who we would encounter. It's just hard.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

with the touch of a button, the special glass panels instantly turn matte for privacy, and sliding curtains make it possible to further close off specific rooms.

That snow house would be awesome for an Aurora Borealis viewing vacation. I think it does have a bathroom (2nd floor, left side of the image), but the cliff house doesn't seem to have a bathroom or any light fixtures.

Most of the rescue places won't take opened food. If you know a neighborhood unofficial rescue, they might. So far I have 1 unopened bag of EN, 3/4 of k/d, an almost full of diabetic (which I should just toss, it's over a year old....hell, I'll go put it in the trash tonight.)

The snow house just makes me feel cold.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You could Craigslist or free cycle the food. Feeding their animals is a huge problem for some people these days. We had more than 400 people come to the food pantry day we did at the shelter recently.
