Oh my god. What can it be? We're all doomed! Who's flying this thing!? Oh right, that would be me. Back to work.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think I reblogged those already, ita !, but will check.

ION, I'm pretty sure the meringue I just made with stevia will be a disaster.

hwæt

Was that a recipe, or something you improvised? Because I kind of think the sugar would provide structure to the merengue.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I...didn't join the productivity party today. I went fishing instead and caught the biggest fish I'd ever caught. The SO caught his limit and I caught one short of my limit. Oops! Nobody told me it was productivity day! But I had a lot of fun.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Dude, catching close to the limit totally counts!

Love the shades, sarameg.

There are recipes with it, but it never got glossy and stiff enough. Also I think it will taste disgusting. But we'll see!

Our wings are not tired

Not sure about productivity here. I'm stuck in a tech rehearsal all day. Almost to dinner break.

I slept in. Then I had some breakfast. Then I read a book. Them I took a nap. So far, no productivity at all!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I am tired. I will also attest that a boy and a girl, even one who doesn't talk louder than a whisper, is much louder than children should be.

We drove to Anaheim, picked up my niece who is participating in the indentured servitude program at Disney, went to Gardena to the Japanese grocery store, then went to Long Beach, but avoiding the Grand Prix, for fish tacos, then the beach then back to Anaheim. The home.

The twins collected shells including a beautiful nautilus. I bought a $1.29 indoor basketball hoop for Noah and Grace which is now hanging off their bunkbed. I bought a galloon of soy sauce.

But, Grace played in the sand. [link] She looks pretty happy there, doesn't she?

Thanks, -t! I love the light, but in summers, I really need to block some of it to keep things cooler (windows face due west.) But I didn't want to block all the light and I didn't want to see the covering when not in use. This accomplishes it. Plus, a nice plummy color suits the room. IKEA finally made them available online, as my store didn't carry them.
