We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Today is move in day. Mom is very shaky and complaining about institutions. The movers were amazing, so fast and efficient.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My guess is that she is going to freak and complain...but now she can freak and complain in a place full of professionals who are trained to handle that kind of reaction.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My guess is that she is going to freak and complain...but now she can freak and complain in a place full of professionals who are trained to handle that kind of reaction.

Yeah, absolutely. If nothing else, having other people around to manage the routine stuff (meds, etc.)should really help everyone.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

We cleared out for a little while to do beer nerd activities. Hopefully all is in a holding pattern till Monday. Poor Josie. I've known her for 14 years. The end has been coming for a few weeks, and I am glad we get to say goodbye. But it sucks saying goodbye AND seeing my friend have to deal with this. It's breaking my heart.

But I have beer, which helps some!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am going to be so sore tomorrow, but I think I will continue the yard work after church - it felt so good to be productive in the yard again.

I cannot remember the last time I have felt this chill. 4 days off work is just what I needed and now with mac a bit more chill, it really is like a break. Oh and McPhee keeping the house in order also made a huge difference, because there wasn't a TON that needed doing, I could just start on the not-everyday stuff.

one load of linens dry and another washing. Top layer stuff is getting de-cathaired in the dryer before washing.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've done a lot of slacking this weekend, and a LOT of Community watching, but I've also managed to get stuff done, My garage is organized and a lot neater, I've weeded (more to do tomorrow though), I've done some other chores, I've bought my secret santa present, and done some much needed sweater shopping, all without driving anywhere since Wednesday night.
