Did all my things! Sold some books, went to the library, AND went to the ridiculous market by the library, where I think I might be the only person to buy ingredients, and not prepared food. It was more expensive, but possibly worth it.
The library is all nice and open, except the fiction is in the semi-creepy basement, which is a slight bummer.
On the book-buying front, I have been buying books to give as gifts with only a slight idea of who I'm giving them to. Also, I have a 20% one purchse on the frequent buyer card, but I keep going in and buying two books at a time, so it doesn't seem worth it to use the discount. I need to get my shit together.
I only did one bag of leaves, but it is a super compacted bag and only from the driveway.
The front flower bed has yielded a trashcan full of weeds and shrub cuttings and is not near done yet, but I needed a food break.
I have: finally removed the bags of Isaac debris from the back yard, cleaned the cockleburrs out of the front bed, repaired a Halloween candleholder, put away the box of Halloween decorations, done all the dishes, started picking old glue off of my egg coddlers, talked to my parents, and brainstormed some Xmas stuff.
Now to walk the dog and clean house. Then feed Tom and Nora's cats, walk boss' dogs, go pick up D, swing by store, feed my animals, fix dinner and either introduce D to Doctor Who or go listen to sea shanties.
Today is move in day. Mom is very shaky and complaining about institutions. The movers were amazing, so fast and efficient.

Yeah, absolutely. If nothing else, having other people around to manage the routine stuff (meds, etc.)should really help everyone.

We cleared out for a little while to do beer nerd activities. Hopefully all is in a holding pattern till Monday. Poor Josie. I've known her for 14 years. The end has been coming for a few weeks, and I am glad we get to say goodbye. But it sucks saying goodbye AND seeing my friend have to deal with this. It's breaking my heart.
But I have beer, which helps some!
