I just, for sake of distraction (I'm waiting on a slide deck to validate, and I can't start without it) took the Harvard Project Implicit test on gay/straight bias, and am not surprised to come out "moderate automatic preference for Gay People compared to Straight People" since I winced before every "telling" keystroke. I don't know if that ends up measuring what they want it to measure. I don't feel like it was implicit at all.

A friend of my brother's used to get harrassed on the street in Moscow all the time because he "looked Chechen".
