I used to pretend I was a secretary, so I really got a lot of "training" because I read all sorts of secretaries' handbooks. I theoretically also know how to use a dictaphone and send telegrams. Unfortunately, I learned to how to be a secretary from the '50's, but I do know my office supplies.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Heh. Television from the 1960s made me think all offices had a bar.
Also, before he goes to college, can you make sure he understands the difference between an envelope and a folder?
And that he knows to look up from his cell phone before stepping into the street? Although, by the time he's in college, all the equipment for whatever kids those days use for communication will probably be embedded into their brains or something. Good Luck Strix!
Stay safe and dry, Chicagoistas!

msbelle, I'm glad to hear it! I thought you weren't especially nearby, but I'm definitely glad to have you check in and say so.
What Kate said, msbelle.
Lee, yep. I pass by the sign for it every time I'm on the BW Parkway or Route 32.
