Fox News reports Massachusetts General Hospital treating 10 people with amputated limbs
I've seen one report indicating that there might have been shrapnel (ball bearings) in the bomb, which would account for the loss of limb. Sounds purposefully designed as an anti-personnel bomb to maim and kill.

It's disproportionately freaking me out that someone who sees that animated GIF on the Post page will see someone they know collapsing, maybe injured.
So I have CBS on now, and whoever is talking is saying that ""lookiing at the threat matrix" there doesn't look like is the start of a broader attack. He's also saying it's probably bombs but no one knows who is behind it. And that it could be not an attack on America in general but an attack on Boston in particular.
Fucking hell, I feel sick. This is awful.
