Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

More evidence that I should declutter more often: discovered a 3.5" floppy disc drive for an early Macintosh. I almost feel like I should call up a computer museum or something.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Thanks, folks. I do kind of think it was the alcohol, because I felt more buzzed than I should have when I go home. But I have eaten some applesauce and a piece of toast with jam, and I feel rather less shaky.

Still, I'm annoyed: it's a beautiful day and I was going to take the dog for a long run. Bah.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Sometimes, it's how things mix together and stuff. Or you caught a bug. Either way, feel better soon. Sounds like Bieber needs to think about something besides himself and his hype.(he actually sounds like a nice guy, but I would say that teen-idolness is not the most *aware* way to grow up.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh Beibs, Anne might have been into you... until you opened your mouth.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Yeah, I like to think she'd have found him vapid.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Taxes are done, and I think we owe an underpayment penalty. AUGH.

This is not a big deal. The big deal is that the taxes are done, and in a little over a week, I will move to a place with warm weather and civilization. I am calm.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's such a mark of maturity, the ability to see a symbol of conflict and hatred that killed millions, a remnant from a life cut short, and what you want to leave behind is to make a note that she didn't get the chance to know how cool you were. Ah, the things that can never be fixed. If only we could go back in time with phonographs of Beiber! It could have change everything. On so many levels.

Or the Onion could write a story like that, but it seems narrow-minded and cruel to him. No one should ever put those words in the mouth (hands) of someone so self-obsessed.

Yeah, I like to think she'd have found him vapid.

I like to think that she could/would be doing things like succumbing to fads and liking stuff her parents can not understand, things that are speaking to the freedom from consequences and carefree day to day lives. Justin Bieber posters over her wall would be great.

Made oatmeal muffins this morning. I'm not abel to work out yet how to modify them to make them my One True Homemade Muffin. But I can chill for a batch or two.

I also bought a jumbo muffin tin (this is how zulily will kill me). So it takes the same amount of batter from one of the standard 12 count tins, and makes six. I am already pleased by this, even though...I cut the first muffin in half. I will need to know how to tweak this best to make sure it's cooked through and through.

I seemm to have discovered the nurse can be worked like Teavana employees. Speak first, speak about what you want to speak about, and cut down drastically on their own opportunities to start their own conversational thread, especially by walking away. So far, two woo-minimised sesions. It's...something.

[what! why does that need to live twice? let me go back to obsessing about "my most recent accomplishmetn". fuck that noise]

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Heh - when I did my mega-clean of the bedroom, I found the battery to my old Treo on top of a bookshelf.

If you were uber-organised like me (ha!) you'd have a Nokia pile (which has components more than ten years old, I think) and a Motorola pile, with devices and manuals but no chargers, because for some reason I seem to feel fine about throwing those out.
