Can you say it's your favorite show to draw?
Or should I not draw it for that very reason? ::shakes fists at sky::
Wow. I just read the most horrible wikipedia writeup for a serial killer, Albert Fish: [link] He's the sort of guys who doesn't just pull triggers, he installs them. His victims seem to be all kids.
Do your favorite show that you draw the least? I can see the appeal of that.
I have a real problem with those security questions that ask for my favorite novel or tv show. My answer depends on what I'm feeling that day! It's of no use in that context! I hate the ones that don't let you set your own question.
I hate when security questions are like "Place you met your spouse! Place you honeymooned! Your best friend at age 7! Your favorite movie/novel/color!" because I either don't have or won't remember most of those. Plus sometimes it's a website I don't want to give REAL answers to (like my mom's maiden name) but am required to give some kind of answers, and the only options are things like maiden names.
Is anyone watching or discussing "Hannibal" anywhere? Bryan Fuller show, with Caroline Dhavernas, Laurence Fishburne and the promise of Gina Torres at some point, and an explicit Wonderfalls shout-out about halfway through the second episode.
But good holy God is it creepy. So deeply, deeply creepy. Like Minear's
The Inside,
but with visuals so horrifyingly gorgeous you can't look away. Except oh how you want to. Or, I do. But I can't.
I've got both eps on my DVR now. Given your description, I both very much want to see them and am tempted to delete without watching. Will probably watch. Soon. Ish.
No, no, do watch. Just pick a time solidly after you've digested one meal but just as solidly before you're hungry for the next. You really, really don't want to watch this show in even remote proximity to the consumption of food.

I do Tim's taxes, and one of the security questions is "Name of your first girlfriend/boyfriend." So I made it my name. (This was a couple of years ago.) So this year he tried to log in to check the status of his return, and for some reason had to answer the security question. And he kept trying the name of his REAL first girlfriend. I heard him muttering about the security question, and finally I asked, "Is this the security question about your first girlfriend?"
"Yeah," he said, "and I don't know if I'm spelling her name wrong, or what, but it isn't working."
"That's because *I* do your taxes," I said. "So the answer is MY NAME."
Booyah.

See, I like all of those actors, and I'm all about a Wonderfalls shoutout, but I cannot handle the creepy. No way. Plus it's on opposite Elementary, and I still watch TV in the 1970s, where the concept of recording one show while I watch another is CRAZY SCIENCE FICTION.

Yeah, that pretty much validates my decision. Egad.
Food warning, noted.
I'm kinda concerned about disturbing images - if it's the last thing (or like, the most powerful image) I see at night, I find myself lingering on those images or even importing them into dreams. Given that, would you recommend daylight-only viewing?
Hey, people have good news! And that is wonderful!
I haven't seen Hannibal yet, but I will have to give it a whirl; I like the creepy. I knew Fuller was doing it, but I didn't realize Dhavernas and Fishburne were in it!
Oof, I am TIRED. And I feel like I have been beaten; I think I shall eat something bland and take to my bed with an old book and the hope of pain-free sleep.
The largest animal I have encountered in the free and wild was a razorback pig while hiking in Arkansas, and that is plenty for me.
