Thanks, Hec. My major concern is the noise, since it's on Haight St. So we picked a room that apparently does not face Haight. I'll pack earplugs to be safe.

Natter 71: Someone is wrong on the Internet
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Dana, not even 42?
Too serious. If I'm going to see something by myself, I want something fun or floofy.
Also, just got a call from my credit card company, and some bastards got a hold of my card.
Welcome, Monica!
and YAY ME!!!
Yes, yay you too, msbelle! I hope you hear good news soon.
And ouch Dana, that sucks! Rotten timing too.
They tried to charge over $200 at Teavana.
So at least they suffered for it.
Heh. I suspect it was an online purchase, but it got declined, so I guess my credit card people are quick on the mark.
Bastards.
The Red Victorian is right across the street from a fantastic indie bookstore, The Booksmith (which has hosted readings for Hec, Deb G, and possibly other localista authors I'm blanking on), right next door to the spendy but utterly fantastic vintage store Decades of Fashion (great stuff for both genders and a variety of body types, with a back room full of eye-popping opera costumes), and a couple doors down from Loved To Death.
Also within easy access to the Aub Zam Zam (home of Bruno, legendary martini artist and professional surly bastard who would kick people out for such offenses as dressing like hippies or ordering vodka martinis), lots of taquerias, great Ethiopian food and the Pork Store Cafe.
Interesting move, CC thieves. t surreptitiously eyes ita in speculative but not quite accusing manner
The movie I want to see is Trance, but I don't know when I'll get the chance. I like the Danny Boyle.
I was gonna say, that's what? 2 boxes of tea?
STILL NO WORD. THIS IS LIKE THE JURY BEING OUT. I THINK LONGER IS NOT GOOD.
Longer may just mean that people are slow, msbelle. Take deep breaths.
