When I started being in pain in the fall a year ago, she was the first to suggest I see my oncologist. I have seen many chiropractors who make all kinds of claims and require numerous visits.

According to this page, what they've found is that spinal manipulation (which included chiropractic and other approaches) is as effective as traditional medicine; though none of them are very effective. [link]
My BiL was looking into training to become a chiropractor for a while, but when he was told that part of it was letting other prospective chiropractors practice on him he bailed on that idea.
I'm sorry, msbelle. I wish you could have come out with me this evening. I've been so NORMAL. I worked 40 hours this week and then went to happy hour. Ordinary = freakin' awesome.
