Thanks, all. I am spending my birthday working, even though it is a holiday here, so that one of my colleagues did not have to come in (it is her birthday, too).
We are planning on finishing the move to the new house this weekend, but there is so much to do that I am feeling overwhemedish.

There's a funeral for a firefighter here this morning, for a man who died of a heart attack just after returning from a call. He was 61. What keeps catching me in the coverage is that he joined the CFD as a rookie when he was 43. It's kind of inspirational to think about.
(Really shitty November for the CFD. Three firefighters died in the past two weeks - one during a call from smoke, I think; this man; and another who was killed in a hit and run leaving a Veterans' Day function.)
