Happy Sparky Day!!!!
Lee is a taunting taunter who taunts.
At the blood donation center, awaiting my turn. I'm hoping my recent asthma escapades don't make me intelligible.
Today starts my five day weekend. Ahhhhhhhhh. I should have scheduled a massage. Might see if my gal has any availability. Gosh, that would be so nice.
Thanks, all. I am spending my birthday working, even though it is a holiday here, so that one of my colleagues did not have to come in (it is her birthday, too).
We are planning on finishing the move to the new house this weekend, but there is so much to do that I am feeling overwhemedish.
Happy birthday, Sparky!
I'm facilitating a Collaborate meeting for my org's Central American team. I really wish I'd taken Spanish in high school now.
Happy Birthday, Sparky!
There's a funeral for a firefighter here this morning, for a man who died of a heart attack just after returning from a call. He was 61. What keeps catching me in the coverage is that he joined the CFD as a rookie when he was 43. It's kind of inspirational to think about.
(Really shitty November for the CFD. Three firefighters died in the past two weeks - one during a call from smoke, I think; this man; and another who was killed in a hit and run leaving a Veterans' Day function.)
Happy Birthday, Sparky!
Today is day 3 of my so-called vacation. Which really isn't very vacationy. I have to make a pie this morning, and go to the store for cream (reverse those actually), and go to the drug store, and call doctor's offices, and deal with my parents and call the movers and and and...
Really wish I could go back to bed.
Sometimes it's a one-step-in-front-of-the-other day.
Happy birthday, Sparky! Easy moving~ma.
There aren't deaths that make people deader, but "hit and run leaving a Veterans' Day function" does an extra thing to my gut.
not if you don't have a soda stream.
I've only become re-obsessed with it recently, but I've been drinking True Lemon for six years now. There's no soda stream dependency.
On the phone with the CIO, and she leads off with "One of the things I've heard is that ita ! hasn't done XYZ." Thanks guys. My boss thinks that it's all under control, but I'm still alone on the call, effectively, and our business user is now officially, over our heads, in an antagonistic position with all of us, and I've been nurturing that relationship since I showed up here. FUCK.
