She may not be eligible yet. And, if you're in a state that is declining the Medicaid money, she may not be eligible next year. The Feds are providing funds to support expansion of medicaid, but those funds will be fading over time, so states will have to foot more of the bill, and some don't want in on that deal.

I'm pretty sure I've heard of ion exchange chromatography in the context of water quality testing. But I don't remember the specifics.
