I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Now I'm seriously in weekend mode, btw - having a Margarita and shrimp cocktail before getting my hair cut. Whee!

No one is talking! And I'm all liquored up and sociable. Ah well, I'll be under the scissors pretty soon.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I have abandoned the idea of trying to sort through paperwork and am instead throwing shit in a box. It's helping to calm me down.

My in-laws arrive Wednesday. That sounds far away, but it's not.

I support throwing shit in a box. In general.

Our wings are not tired.

Tipsy with -t, except on the other coast and stuff. And no shrimp coctail.

Just had 4 Ritz crackers. This is the way #1 son rolls. When his appetite is satisfied he stops eating. So he will leave a half slice of pizza, or 3 strawberries, or 4 crackers. This is likely why he is a rail and I am not.

information libertarian

I am eating cake. I heard today the the job I interviewed for on Monday contacted a reference, which surprised me as I was not feeling that positive about the interview.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm off tomorrow for Good Friday, which seems odd to me but could very well be normal.

It's normal in these parts, where I get a four-day weekend for Easter. We (and by the feel of things, half of Melbourne) are celebrating Good Friday by going to the Zoo. Next up (so to speak): giraffes!

Thanks, Jesus, for dying so we can see the cool animals on a weekday!

We have next monday off for Cesar Chavez day. I also find it weird that we get a day off to celebrate a labor leader.

Hey, we might not have holidays without labor leaders!

I have nothing unusual off. Except swimming sunday, since the Y is closed. I'm going to try to get a 5 mile walk instead. They've dropped the CMA off our Y's, why can't they also do just shortened hours like they do for many other holidays? I know, I know...

Ours is closed too which is a total bummer.

Today I watched another episode of Downton while I was on the elliptical and the bike. It's such a good way to pass time.
