Hey, we might not have holidays without labor leaders!

I have nothing unusual off. Except swimming sunday, since the Y is closed. I'm going to try to get a 5 mile walk instead. They've dropped the CMA off our Y's, why can't they also do just shortened hours like they do for many other holidays? I know, I know...

Ours is closed too which is a total bummer.

Today I watched another episode of Downton while I was on the elliptical and the bike. It's such a good way to pass time.

I could take tomorrow off without using vacation time but alas, I have work deadlines to meet.

Any one here remember the HIMYM episode where Robin over shares about the penis size of the guy she was dating? I just had a friend do that to me about her new boyfriend. But he doesn't have the issue Robin's date had - very much the opposite, apparently. And I'm going out dancing with my friend and her bf tonight. I....just....I'm going to say something wrong. I know it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

We have lawyers here. Can someone answer, or tell me where I can find the answer to, a question about the ACA? Asking for a friend, who is too cynical and depressed to believe it will be good for her, and if it really isn't I'm going to cry on her behalf.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We don't have any days off until Patriot's Day. That's weeks away! (Two.)

I am eating cake. I heard today the the job I interviewed for on Monday contacted a reference, which surprised me as I was not feeling that positive about the interview.

Awesome! That is cake-worthy! Was this the analogy job?

I'm trying to decide what to do with my evening. I could go to a happy hour, but I don't think I know anyone else going. I could go to the opening night of the dance weekend, but same (plus I kinda want to reserve my energy). Plus it's nice out. Hmm.

We sold my pink glider to the nicest woman. She showed up when we asked her to AND we talked about kids with special needs (her daughter has autism). She gave some advice and info which was cool.

Dear Dog,

I am eating rice cakes. Trust me when I tell you you do not want any.

Because books.

I'm going to say something wrong. I know it.

Just a little gaffe can't hurt, right? A tiny one? No?

Everyone is drunk?! I don't have tomorrow off. Hmph.

What is the ACA, Zen?

Aw, the glider is going off to another good place! I remember cuddling a wee Noah in that chair. And reading to him & Grace in it too.

Pumpkin will eat popcorn and pirate booty and I suspect she'd eat the ricecakes too.
