oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Well, that is ridiculous and unprofessional. Not what anyone deserves.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm so sorry, Consuela. I'd be strongly tempted to leave with no notice as well.

Sadly, just not going back into the office would be unprofessional. I have projects & clients that I can't just leave hanging.

Ido think you should look around a little wider - unless you really. Want to stay near your family

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy Birthday, Noah and Grace and K-Bug!

Allyson, what a gorgeous house! May you both be extremely happy there!

Holy CRAP, Consuela, what utter shitheads. I wouldn't resign - they've fired you, you deserve to get your unemployment. I say, go in, don't do another lick of work, get your stuff and leave, and let them discover you're gone the way you discovered you didn't have a job anymore - after the fact. What assholes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

When I got let go from a job, I was offered two weeks to finish stuff, or the same two weeks' pay for not coming back. Obviously, I didn't go back -- except I did go in for a couple of hours the next day to make a big list of what I was doing and the status of things, which frankly was MORE than enough for those fuckers. (But of course, the people I didn't want to leave hanging were not the fuckers.)

ION, I have an appointment to get my hair cut at a new barbershop here. It's a "Gentlemen's Cut and Shave Shop." I've never had a shave from a barber (you know, with a straight razor). Should I do it? Will it be fun?

Getting shaved seems like it would be cool.

IOON, a picture I just shared on Facebook reminds me of another reason to be pissed off about Clarence Thomas -- his interracial marriage would have been illegal 50 years ago.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oh, Consuela, what a bunch of tools they are. But I agree that you should not resign--you deserve unemployment.

Wait, what? They've told you you're fired and they expect you to keep working? It's your company that's left your clients hanging, not you! It's their responsibility to put the pieces back together.
