I have a curiosity. How long in distance are people's commutes? I just measured mine home from work at 10 miles even. I'm curious how far people live from their places of work.
I'm 33 km from my workplace, by road anyway. (I take the train.) Timewise, it takes me about 1h 20m each way.
Two hours! But that one's only twice a week. Then twice a week at half an hour. Then out of the house for two days. Although the SO has half hour commutes an additional three days.
I'm about five or six miles, but it takes me half an hour because I take the bus.
My commute varies from about 50 yards, to 100 miles depending upon the current contract. Pix has about 35 miles each way.
Now, I live very close to my work now (less than 2 miles), but before I lived 9 miles away.
Ten miles. Driving can be anywhere between 20 minutes and 2 hours, bus is 50 minutes or more, and the train is usually about an hour. I keep thinking about getting a bike. If I can get myself into shape I'm thinking that would take about an hour.
I'm about a mile.
This year is the 40th Anniversary of Secretariat's Triple Crown so a bourbon distillery has announce a collectible bottle of a single barrel bourbon to help commemorate the event.
Just a smidge under 1.7 miles.
And damn, that's actually snow out there. Haven't seen much of that this winter and it is MARCH.
