Just a smidge under 1.7 miles.
And damn, that's actually snow out there. Haven't seen much of that this winter and it is MARCH.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Please note: actual 1.5 inches of heavy wet snow on the ground at 6 am and no facilities notice from work. Compared with rain and less than a quarter of an inch on March 6 and OMG WORK IS CLOSED.
A bit less than 10 miles.
2.5 miles.
5 blocks, less than ½ mile.
About 2 miles and change.
11 miles for me.
13 miles. Normally 25 minutes door-to-desk. And with that, off I go....
The kids' walk to school is about 12 minutes at 6 year old pace; mr. flea drives about 4 miles. I cannot imagine driving 35 miles a day to work (here, you could live in either of two other states and commute if you're willing to drive that far!)
We got almost no snow overnight, although it's lightly snowing now, so all systems are go for regular plans. Interview-ma for me at 12, please!
Apparently I'm 2 miles from my office by the most direct route, which I didn't quite realize, and means I really should walk home more. It's a 10 minute drive.
