I watched the first two hours of S3 today, and I keep waiting for Horrible Things to happen, based on what I remember of some of the reactions on Twitter. It's giving me anxiety.
I know, right? I was trying to remember when I saw lots of FB comments about the show.
I've decided that John Noble needs a guest spot because there really, really needs to be a scene between him and Maggie Smith.
I hear that central Illinois got a bunch of snow - but so far we've just had a dusting.
I will say, watching Shirley MacLaine and Maggie Smith together was loads of fun. Oh, and when Mary comes down the stairs in her wedding dress, with her father and Carson both watching, I completely blubbered. I love that she asked Carson if she "would do," too. Something about their dynamic just breaks me.
Just finished my last concert with my choir up here, so now I'm a little sniffly and melancholy.
I have a curiosity. How long in distance are people's commutes? I just measured mine home from work at 10 miles even. I'm curious how far people live from their places of work.
I'm 33 km from my workplace, by road anyway. (I take the train.) Timewise, it takes me about 1h 20m each way.
Two hours! But that one's only twice a week. Then twice a week at half an hour. Then out of the house for two days. Although the SO has half hour commutes an additional three days.
