ita, I'm posting this for you here (repeat of facebook). With no prompting, Noah said, "I'm still learning division. It's hard though. Like things that don't go in evenly are odd, right?" I said, no, there are just leftovers. Like 10 divided by 8 leaves two, I told him. He contemplated that while Grace and I practiced sight words (I'm the most unfun mom ever).
He picked up Grace's number cards, hid one behind his back and said, "Guess what mystery number I have?" I randomly guessed twelve and then he said, "I'll give you a hint: four groups of five."
He sure had 20. He cracks me up.
I think not. I think he is just mathy in a way that is pretty funny.
But they are sitting in the messages, so maybe some day!
Woo hoo! I will live in hope.
Kat--I'm clinging to my Looper theory. Also he's nuttily cute, and you are a hysterical "what, me, a teacher?" mother.
The mathiness is awesome. Because it will work well in other areas. Owen is middling in math--Liv seems to gravitate more towards numbers. Which is fine by me. Owen's more big picture than details, but has the survival instincts of a cheeseburger. Liv--she is...formidable.
Wish me luck sleeping tonight, y'all. I've taken a benadryl - we'll see if that helps any.
Good luck, Anne!
I've just seen a rental listing with "POSSIBLE CAT" among the amenities. It's probably just a clumsy way of saying "cats ok" but I'm sort of tempted to Google the address and see if Schrodinger lives there.
Anne, you can take 2 Benadryl safely, if need be.
Thank you, Teppy. I will do just that.
( I swear, I just eat and booze my way through trips)
This is pretty much all I do on trips. This is the reason for my trips!
I take 2 Benadryl every night to sleep.
