The incompetent developer is trying to blame me for breaking something that she doesn't want to fix. Now, even if I broke it, it's her job to fix it. But it just so happens, I DIDN'T DO IT. I did use the word "scapegoat" in my reply to her explaining that I have nothing to do with the issue.

The last time she told me an issue was my fault, she had the decency to asscap her eventually discovered culpability. She's really inventive about everything except problem-solving. Blame-appropriating? Like a boss.

Heck, for my eye surgery as soon as they started to try to sell me on the medical loan or whatever I was like "is there a discount for cash?" And bam, 5% off. But that's an elective procedure. For hospital though, if it weren't an emergency I'd totally try to bargain if I didn't have insurance. I mean, those EOBs clearly show insurance knocking off tons. At my old chiropractor I had insurance for a while and was paying something like $30 copay plus insurance paid $10. Posted rate was like $60. Lost the insurance, went to them and said "I'll pay $40 up front each time which is what you were getting anyway and no billing for you" and they agreed. But again--wasn't desperate. So easier.

The SO hates to fly, so I almost never fly with him. I mean, like, in our lives I think I did just the once.

ION I am getting a whole lot of nothing done today. What happened, productivity? We were getting along so well? Maybe you are hidden behind this coffee mug.
