Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I just got an email from my boss that she wants to talk to me tomorrow. No indication what it's about. And now she's left for the day so I can't ask her.

Great. Now I'm going to fret for 24 hours.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Considering that the day started with me dropping a cup of kibble all over the kitchen floor, and having to clean up cat hork, it hasn't been too bad today.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So, I'm at training. Talking a lot, and drawing everyone. The one picture I completed, I gave it to my unknowing subject. When I came back from break, he asked me to sign it. Which is entirely not what I was expecting, but cool.

Okay, back to interrupting.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Altos are always better.

Good luck, Zen. I hope it's not too fretty.

No written offer for husband's job yet. I am fretting a bit myself.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Altos are always better.

Represent.

No sense fussing about it today, Zen. I know, I would too. But nothing you can do about it for the moment.

Okay, so I finished making my hot hide glue pot! I need to actually replace my crockpot, since I did the mods to it before I actually bought a new one, but hey, priorities!

Now to finish sanding and prepping the piece.

Okay, apparently I was so excited, I finished sanding and prepping the piece before I hit post.

Now to fiddle anxiously for the rest of the time while the glue soaks and then heats.

Oh, good luck, Dana! I too am fretting.

Because books.

Much job~ma for everyone fretting!

I was appalled to learn I was an alto in junior high. I think I assumed girls were supposed to be sopranos. But I like my voice now, even if it makes it hard to sing along with some artists.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sopranos really can be unsufferable. ISTG, the more elite the group, the more likely the altos are like chatting and knitting while the sopranos are singing high notes to themselves in a corner.

Oh, I see what you mean! Yeah. I don't like the people. But that applies to all people, because I am a cranky old sod at 37.

I don't want to be a cranky old loner, but yet? Maybe.

Okay, so I finished making my hot hide glue pot!

I love that I don't even know what that means. I loved it earlier when Consuela was talking about climbing, too -- it's so cool to get a glimpse of things I have no idea about.

Yeah, what exactly are you using hide glue for, LIese? I thought these were cigar box guitars!
