How do you rinse your hair facing the water?
How do you rinse your hair facing away from the water? For me, it would take kind of a limbo move.
If there were a life-time achievement award for stripping screws or losing the fourth caster after installing the first three, I'd be in the money.
Hivemind help, please.
The hotel room I stayed in on my TX trip had
this [link redacted] piece of art on the wall. I liked it enough I've thought about getting a print for my apartment, but I haven't been able to identify it.
Is this something anyone recognizes? Does anyone know the artist? The people at the hotel had no idea, and I couldn't find a signature. (The other print in the room was Klimt's "Beech Forest 1," which is pretty much the only Klimt I like, and prints of it are readily available.)
I have been looking forward to making veal marsala all week, and when push came to shove--I made veal piccata. I have no idea why. It's tasty, so that's cool, but the craving goes unquenched.

Don't you just back into the stream? So it's hitting your scalp even more directly than if you'd been facing the water?
sort of the whole premise of Clan if the Cave Bear?
I thought that it was Jondalar's schlong was the muse that inspired Ayla to write the Constitution?
I watched that Nova, Sophia, and some of their conclusions are way more interesting than anything Auel came up with, IMO.
I haven't taken a bath since the raining-in-the-livingroom incident. Though that shouldn't happen anymore, though I still don't have a real overflow drain. My tub is longer than most, has a lovely sloped back...and a faucet right where your head would go. Alas: [link]
Builders in the 30s had some weird ideas. Or at least this developer did.
So today I went to market, Target, TJs, Petsmart, swam, had Taylor over for a visit and vacuumed and mopped the whole house (finished that half an hour ago.) Ooph.
...and you guys? One of the schools she applied to? Guilford. My alma mater. She looked into it just because I went there and she really liked it. Honestly, I think she'd do really well there. And she'd probably get really good merit and need-based financial aid there (it's really spendy, but they really really support their low-income students.) She's gotten in to all her safety schools, and even has a plan if the is a major money fail ( BCC until she can transfer in) but I think she'll get decent financial aid.
Here you go, dcp: [link] It's Gene McInerney's Waterloo Bridge.
Aha! Thank you, Hil and ita !
Interesting that some of you have a direction you face in the shower. I turn around a lot. I also have to be prepared to jump out of the stream when the water suddenly goes scalding or freezing. That's my least favorite thing about this apartment.
Have you guys seen the time-lapse photos of sleeping couples? [link]
Work is making me weary, but I think I'm doing okay covering for my boss so far and the crew is being understanding and cooperative. If I can make it through the next two weeks without a major fail I think I'll be okay.
Wow, how did y'all find his picture? I'm impressed.
sara, that's so awesome that she has you and that she's doing so well!
