Go, CJ! He really is an impressive young man; I'm so glad I was able to meet him (and you of course) last summer. As for St Patrick's Day, I'm sure there are people who will do stupid things even if he wasn't rooting for them.
Msbelle, feel better.

msbelle, want me to have a word with your son and tell him to shape up and start pampering the sickie? I think soup and lullabies, maybe bedtime stories? It's only fair.
I hadn't realised Kelly Manners was producing Necessary Roughness. Interesting.
Does anyone here use Method products? I like their stuff--I use their hand soap in my bathroom and kitchen, and their ylang ylang shower spray is one of the few complex scents I can tolerate, and if shower spray works, this might be working (that downward slide into scum seems to be slower now). But recently I grabbed laundry detergent because they have some highly concentrated stuff--way less packaging and bulk--600ml for 50 loads. It was on sale, so reasonable, but I think I'm a fan.
ita - he is so far from taking care of another, I would be happy with simple understanding. He did get himself dinner last night. Once he refused what McPhee had offered to make and what I offered, he caught on that he was on his own.
Still he started throwing a fit when I was going to alter from the normal nighttime routine of a shower for myself. TUrns out a steamy shower was probably good for me and helped me get a good night'ss sleep, but damn kid.
HALP.
My boss wants me to calculate our budget for what we can spend per square foot per staff person. The annual budget for rent for 2013 is $18,000, and we have 7 full time staff people.
I can't wrap my brain around how to calculate this. Do I need more information? Anyone have thoughts?
Yeah, you need the square footage of your office.
Then you can divide $18K by the square footage of the office to get the price per square foot, then divide again by 7 to get the price per square foot per staff member.
18K / 7 = 2.57K per person.
according to this: [link]
average sq ftg per worker is currently about 150.
so you'd need to be able to get 150sq ft for $2570.00 or just over $17 a sq ft.
If my math logic is correct.
Or wait, are you looking for a new office, and need to know how big you can afford, is that it?
flea, yes.
Annual rent per person is $2571, so if you find a 25,710 square foot place for $18K, that'll be $1 per staff person, right?
I can see why you are confused. Don't most spaces rent by the month? So you need a space that you can rent for $1500 a month that fits 7 people. If msbelle is right and 7 people need 150 square feet each, you need at least 1050 square feet. So if you found a space that matched those numbers the cost would be $1.43 per square foot per person per month (multiply time 12 for a year).
