Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow - that is something in this ever-prying news world.

It was 30+ years ago, for what that's worth.

This isn't Good Stuff appropriate, but it's really sweet

That is sweet. I do try to avoid stuff that could come with a trigger warning.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Jesse, did anyone submit the article about the man who got his dog back from the pound because of photos posted on Facebook?

(Note: that story has ensured that I will NEVER STOP CRYING. It has a happy ending! And still I'm teary about it.)

I have not seen that story!

Also, for what it's worth, Bikers Against Child Abuse is the most-popular Good Stuff post again today. The few super-popular ones keep going around in waves.

I don't remember how to submit things to Good Stuff, but here's the article (MAY INDUCE TEARS): [link]

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So, I saw the dog story and am I reading that wrong or does this sound like a racket for the police/city budget? You arrest someone and take their dog even before asking if the person has someone to take care of the dog?

Then you charge $400 for the person to get the dog back?

Yup, I was thinking the same thing. While I was crying like a baby.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This is good stuff appropriate, though, right: [link] ? My tear ducts definitely vote yes.

Oh yeah. Kameron!

I also have a post in the queue of pictures of Jon Hamm, and it kind of makes me laugh to think of the Good Stuff as a place where anyone can achieve something, but white men are mostly objectified. Is that wrong?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

msbelle, feeling like shit when you are at work despite having a cold on top of bronchitis doesn't make you a wimp. Everyone feels like shit when they are that sick. I am sending you hugs and instructions to drink lots of tea and hot chocolate.
