It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'm a little late but I stopped and started C25K a few times. Then, one time, it clicked. I think that plan is great. So my advice is to take it easy. Repeat weeks if you don't feel ready to advance. if it takes longer than 8 weeks, who cares.

Whoa. State refund deposited today. That was fast, just barely over a week.

And the IRS tells me to expect the fed deposit to be made tomorrow. 9 days. Fascinating.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Just did my taxes today, coincidentally. I may actually get to take a vacation this year after all.

Our wings are not tired.

I did mine on Saturday. Hoping very much that my work bonus will take care of what I owe (self-employment taxes are $$ and I skipped my last "estimated quarterly" payment).

Punishingly Intricate

Our tax stuff is with our accountant now and I live in fear until we hear from him. So complicated this year!

sarameg - Feb 19, 2013 6:16:48 pm PST #11984 of 30001

I can't justify him anymore. First year, yeah. But now TurboTax can handle it. But I'm a single-stater, uncomplicated homeowner.

Devi has the steaming routine down. I carried her up to the bath, set her down to turn on the water and she went to jump up on the toilet seat, except it wasn't down with a sheet of cardboard on it (there to make it more appealing, since it is a faux box.) She was confused. I remedied.

I can see the steaming in my increased gas bill this month (gas hot water heater.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How is this person still working for your company?

Because she only acts like that, I guess, in front of me. But I did send an email to our manager telling her that the developer needed to hear it from her before she'd do it--and she's not the first person I've reached out to in order to give her instructions, since coming from the only subject matter expert in the enterprise doesn't count. Because I'm not a developer.

If she was any good, that might sting, but when I was told she was incompetent (I wish I felt they knew she was truculent too), the explanation was that she'd moved into development from being an admin. So if she wants to get into casting aspersions on backgrounds, homeslice needs to have a look around. Her colleagues are mocking hers, as she's mocking mine.

I will have to commit myself to doing taxes this week. The pile of paperwork is ready, as well as my medical bills from 2012.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I was an asshole this morning. Someone questioned my judgement in making an unprotected left, so every time they honked, I threw up jazz hands. Which was more than twice. Maybe 4 times.

I like you and would like to subscribe to your newsletter. I am totally jazz handing people who want me to make unsafe vehicular choices and encourage it through honking. *V*

as a person who tends to hope my screwups will go away if I avoid them long enough.

I am so that person. It's bad when I am reinforced that this is a valid strategy.

Gosh, I wish I got endorphins from running. The only exercise I have ever gotten an endorphin rush from is giving birth, which is hardly a practical regular workout plan.

I got a nice but mostly unremarkable stretch of endorphins from a tattoo for about 15 minutes. They were nice. I'd work out more for those. And I think it was a tiny dose of endorphins. Certainly not enough to want a baby.

Zen, I suggest just signing up for a 5k and walking it.

This is much more easy peasy than I ever expected. Make sure your shoes work (or get proactive on places that could blister) and it's not bad. A LOT of people walk. I totally walked.

I did practice walks because I am not in shape. But mostly it's about blisters from what I experienced.

If you aren't into it, don't do it, clearly. But if you are thinking about it and don't want to do it because you'd walk instead of run, think about it.

Plus free fruit and waters. Maybe other food. I just slammed a banana and a bunch of waters.

So, I am not sure if I really want to register for a 5K. Does this defeat the purpose of a Couch to 5K program?

There is something awesome about knowing that you can, if you choose, knock out a 5K. It's really only three miles but just getting ready for mine made me feel kinda stronger.

I do wish I'd kept it up. I am going to commit to going back to walking at least three times a week. Just to do it.

and starting me on Flonase, since it's a steroid and should get the inflammation to un-inflame

Nasonex is not scented like flowers. I think they are very similar medications. I ditched Flonase because it smelled like roses.

It's weird how some people think that if they don't answer you that the thing you're talking about will evaporate and disappear from their responsibilities.

It's stupid and shitty but I swear I think things might disappear if I never look at them. Less when I am on the job. But some things? Yeah.

Devi has the steaming routine down. I carried her up to the bath, set her down to turn on the water and she went to jump up on the toilet seat, except it wasn't down with a sheet of cardboard on it (there to make it more appealing, since it is a faux box.) She was confused. I remedied.

She's a good kitty. And oddly engaged in being steamed.

Puppycat jumped onto the ledge of my bath earlier and walked to the inner side. I was stressing until she managed to reverse without falling and flaying. Also a good kitty. Because I didn't have to bleed.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you had to pick one thing that makes Dita Von Teese the most visible woman right now (and for a few years back) in burlesque? What's her magic that gets her $20K for ten minutes of work?

Which I'm not saying in a challenging way--just wonder what sets her apart from the pack.

Okay--funky mozzarella is sneaky. Smelt normal, looked normal, and I couldn't have spat that out fast enough. I'm used to cheese sending warning signals.
