If you had to pick one thing that makes Dita Von Teese the most visible woman right now (and for a few years back) in burlesque? What's her magic that gets her $20K for ten minutes of work?
Which I'm not saying in a challenging way--just wonder what sets her apart from the pack.
Okay--funky mozzarella is sneaky. Smelt normal, looked normal, and I couldn't have spat that out fast enough. I'm used to cheese sending warning signals.
DVT is a complete package. She looks AWESOME every fucking time she leaves the house. That's what you are spending the $$ for. Consistency and awesomeness.
Suzi, if you google "scar mobilization", you'll find some info on massages to help break up the adhesions that are keeping things from moving. [link] looks pretty good.
If you aren't into it, don't do it, clearly. But if you are thinking about it and don't want to do it because you'd walk instead of run, think about it.
I'm thinking about it. You guys have made me seriously think I could do it. I used to be a person who walked *everywhere*. I thought nothing of walking across Nashville from my campus to my BFF's house. Never really a runner, but I could do a fast sprint. I miss being that person. I'd like to be that person again.
One cool thing about Charlottesville is the system of walking trails that goes all the way around the city. I really want to be able to walk that whole trail in a day.
I am home, yay! I feel utterly exhausted and sick and am going to collapse now...
Welcome home, Sue! Enjoy your lovely very own bed tonight!
Thanks for all the birthday wishes, folks. It was a nice one. There was chocolate and red wine, and cake, and fire! I'll take it!
Skipping again because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Jon B's birthday.
Happy birthday, Jon! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
Happy birthday, Jon!
Um, it's February Jesse. It is winter.
Yes! That's what I meant -- I would be happy right now if half of my bedroom were a sauna. I love a sauna.
Glad to hear Sue made it home!
