I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

I am spoiled on Downton (I only watched the first season) between my roommate watching it on British timing and the whole internet last night. OMG, Facebook and Slate and the NYTimes and everywhere I went! I mean, not that I REALLY cared, but if I had...

I cleaned my room for a few minutes. Took out a bunch of boxes that needed recycling. Changed some lightbulbs. And then managed to seriously burn my index finger on a lightbulb (note to self: The one that isn't working will be cool. The others will NOT) OWWW. Also, hard to type whilst holding ice to finger.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

We have a donor who literally just told us that if there's anything we need and it's in their reach, it's ours.

Bagpipes.

If I lived somewhere remote-ish I would totally get bagpipes.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Right, Cass! It's for the children. I'm not really sure how you and I driving around in circles is for the children, but whatevs, details.

Yes! That would be awesome. We're expecting another 4-8 inches Wednesday.

Ooh, bagpipes! The SO just turned down an accordion this past week. I have no idea why. I mean, it can't be that we used to have two and never used them and eventually lost them. How one loses an accordion is quite beyond me.

I would seriously love to have bagpipes. I was given a tin whistle recently, though!

To be fair, I'd campaign for a road course.

That's also on my list. And maybe a bassoon.
