Occasionally I’m callous and strange
I was totally spoiled for Downton Abbey so of course I spent the entire episode wondering how he would be offed. I was pretty convinced that he would be accidentally shot in a hunting accident...I mean, such an opportunity for drama! Just imagine, Shrimpie accidentally kills Matthew, thus setting of a familial vendetta that could go on for generations, totally making Rose staying with the Granthams AWK WARD. Or he could be shot in the back and the whole next season would be figuring out who done him in. Or a train accident, since they split up the party for the return trip, but that would take out a LOT of other family/staff members and that would just be messy. I'm a little surprised that they went with a method that does NOT spark further drahma since it's totally turned into just a another soap opera, of course with fantastic costuming.

I was an asshole this morning. Someone questioned my judgement in making an unprotected left, so every time they honked, I threw up jazz hands. Which was more than twice. Maybe 4 times.
And then after I made the left, they roared around me... and sideswiped a beater of a truck. Um.
I may be an asshole, but clearly better driving judgement.

I'm going to snap one day and scream at the drivers who look at me, the pedestrian, like I'm a giant annoyance. My favorite is when they skid to a stop at the stop sign and then wave me across, as if they're doing me this huge favor.

I walked home from work yesterday and rode my bike in today. I had no hassles from drivers, but I do avoid well traveled streets wherever possible.
