Of course, I need to put away my laundry and remake my bed with my clean sheets, but instead I am eating fresh mozzarella cheese and drinking salted caramel chai lattes and sitting by the fire listening to the boy play with his new looper toy. We have a donor who literally just told us that if there's anything we need and it's in their reach, it's ours. Which is kinda quietly freaking us out. Like, it makes me want to put less stuff on the needs list, because really, do I need it? I mean, if I'm going to just put it on the magic list and get it. I feel very weird about this.
I was all, a Corvette? I need a Corvette, I'm pretty sure. And also to know how to drive stick. Can you buy me a Corvette and driving lessons with a retired NASCAR driver?

Teppy, a friend of mine had sinus problems that turned out to be scarring that previous exams had not spotted. Not saying that is the case for you, but I almost hope it is, cause it turned out to be easy to fix.

Downton: This season was pretty meh, and that last ep was a real snoozefest up until you-know-what happened. I was spoiled (unintentionally) but DW saw it coming from a mile away. I hope it gets better next year.

I am spoiled on Downton (I only watched the first season) between my roommate watching it on British timing and the whole internet last night. OMG, Facebook and Slate and the NYTimes and everywhere I went! I mean, not that I REALLY cared, but if I had...
I cleaned my room for a few minutes. Took out a bunch of boxes that needed recycling. Changed some lightbulbs. And then managed to seriously burn my index finger on a lightbulb (note to self: The one that isn't working will be cool. The others will NOT) OWWW. Also, hard to type whilst holding ice to finger.
