Also referred to as "insurance company Thunderdome."
Kaiser is trying to figure out if some other insured entity is at fault for my accident. I know they're not, and have been ignoring their notices for months now.
So, I love Kaiser, they're the best, but they are ridiculous. I went to , dunno, 15 or so doctor visits in the past few months. I've been asked 20+ times if this happened at work. STILL NO. How many times was I asked if this was the result of abuse? One time. In front of my husband, btw.
Now I am really hoping Hec is not planning to shoot erika in the head...

Side note: my friend Robin dated Henry Kaiser, the noted guitarist and grandson of Henry J. Kaiser (the founder). He had some curious sexual proclivities.

Nope.

That's really something.
I've been asked about trouble at home more times, considering that I live alone! (One time, it was scratches from the cat. One time, I just started crying because I was so sick I shouldn't have actually gotten up to go to the doctor.)
Onerous tasks done: reconciling credit card bill. Scheduling hot tub winterizing. Scheduling physical checkup required by Mal's new school.
Onerous tasks to do: Mailing Mal's passport photos to new school for badges. Making hotel and rental car reservations. Getting rid of furniture.
I did my open enrollment. Ended up sticking with the expensive HMO ($700/mo - which is $100 more than this year) since my health woes are still woe-ing and K-Bug's issue isn't completely resolved.
Now I'm thinking I should go back in increase my FSA. But I don't want to put out more money. But we have been avoiding getting CJ's wisdom teeth pulled that that is going to HAVE to happen sooner rather than later.
I now completely understand why people go back to get their child support money recalculated. My health care costs have gone up significantly as have various other expenses in that calc. Not up for that fight though.
Not yet, right? Thanks, Hecubus...thanks all for the good wishes. Failing Paulie Walnuts, Melissa Leo's attorney character has a great "You are kidding me with this," expression and I wish I could have her with me.
